Davidson killed a marmotte.... I don't know the word in English, but poor Marmotte... :(

EDIT: Turns out.. the word is simply Marmot... poor sweetie. :(

Oh dear. Adrian (or was it Ralf?) had a close encounter with three of those but they managed to escape. Looks like this one was less fortunate.

I know!! Even last year when we went, I kept on seeing them! There must be their little nest nearby, and they keep being disturbed...

Today, coming to the Uni I saw one. One biggie one! Yesterday, at the same place, I saw one too, but that one was tiny tiny! I think I thus saw one day the mom, one day the baby! hehehe

Sadly enough, had no time or good camera quality to take picture! :(

O.o what happened?

It was the F1 Grand Prix race this past weekend in Montreal, right? Well, on the Notre-Dame island where the Grand Prix happens, there is a lot of marmots living there (wild life, heh?), and once in a while they run across the road. Usually, people are able to dodge them, but this time, it didn't happen. :( The poor driver, Anthony Davidson, was quite sorry it seems from his interview. Although he thought it was a driver!
