Like everyone else on my f-list, I'm crushed to hear that Steve Irwin died. The only comfort would be in the fact that he did die doing what he loved, but nevertheless, it's incredibly sad that this happened and that he left behind a wife and two children. RIP ( Read more... )

My brother brought up Steve Irwin's death over supper and my mom was talking about how hard/impossible it is to save a stab victim and I nearly started to CRY.
Man.
the thought that his kids and wife could have seen it, too, makes me feel 10x worse.

I just can't believe Steve died by a stingray! I stepped on one, and it didn't do anything. I think maybe his luck was finally up...It really is a loss...

Poor Steve Irwin's family. At least people are rallying around for them. I read in the G2 today that less than an hour after his death had been made public, there were so many flowers laid at the gates of his wildlife park that people couldn't get in.
