Totally and utterly unimpressed and depressed about how the election results are going at the moment. I feel sick :(

Also, intermittent internet access as we're driving back from SW Wales isn't helping my mood - I want 21 inch monitor internet access, not small screen, rather rubbish 3G accessed internet.

Yeah, fair point.... Most depressing to see the tories gaining on the other parties. Also, poor Lembit Opik :(

I know - he was very gracious though and I liked the ticking off he gave the BBC for suggesting it was just because of his private life.

If I can offer a small spot of cheer, though - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/election2010/results/constituency/e07.stm - David Heath kept the seat with a much bigger majority than he's had in previous years. I was genuinely worried about "dear Nancy" but people saw sense.

The big picture's still messy and bleak but there is still some sanity in the country...

I saw that dear Nancy didn't take Somerton and Frome. Very pleasing indeed, but unfortunately the LD's losing seats rather than gaining is incredibly depressing. This is reminding me of 1992 although I'm hoping that the hung parliament outcome means that we can get PR in place. It's desperately needed, no-one should have to vote tactically and all votes should count the same.

Just feeling really low right now.
