I don't like The Eye very much, but they seem to have got
this report right at least. Plans to sell off Forestry Commission land in England are likely to cost way more than they raise, and not just in the long term. An example given is a piece of forestry sold to an investor for £60000 who then claimed £55000 *a year* in grants and subsidies.
