I spent more hours than I care to count just carefully combing through the whole store, discovering it inch by inch and being thrilled by the newest products being showcased. I will always think of my time spent in it's warmly lit embrace with fondness...

I don't see how one can exist. They got bought out by the Discovery Channel remember? Now even the Discovery Channel Store no longer exists.

Except for their online store, which IMO is rather lame.

Oddly.. very oddly.. I was just thinking about this store yesterday while unpacking a few things. I had remembered getting this really killer "aussie" style hat and a tree frog wind chime from there and had long ago lost them to one of my many moves. Had kinda been hopeing the store was still around, but had no idea. And I was *just* about to do a search online when I thought to check my LJ first.

... Damn =\ those were indeed great stores and it's a shame to see them go away.. /mourns
