Wow, moving to Dreamwidth is much, much easier than I thought.

You can export all your entries and your comments! And (sorta) your friends as well! ETA: okay, maybe not the comments? I hope there is a way, because that'd be sad. Also, DWs default style is nicer than my current LJ custom journal style ( Read more... )

Your comments should be exporting! If they didn't (and if you got the official Export Finished notification; they do posts first then comments, I believe), you should contact Dwth help - that was a bug a while back that they'd hoped they'd fixed. :P

You may have to run a re-export (possibly after whatever might be on the East Coast has come back up), but that shouldn't give you any double posts and should pull all your comments over. The exporter's terribly well-written, I rather thought. ;-)

I'm justice_turtle over there too. *will toddle off to friend you and other people when I'm not on a five-minute LJ break before leaving for classes IRL*
