Thank you! I'm glad to hear you liked it. Hot and funny stories are much more pleasant to write (and read, at least to me) than angst; they also are more appropriate for a birthday, IMO.:)

As for the vignette *fans self* That is very hot and very endearing. I can so understand that Sam is afraid he's dreaming - and I can so understand Frodo's frustration at the pause in their activities!! *giggles* I'm glad he found a good way to distract Sam and I'm happily whimpering about Frodo's little whimper, about the rush of sensation and about the sinking slowly into Frodo's body. *hothothot*

I had hoped I'd be able to post the fic I promised you (the one about the gaydar thingie -I renamed the artifact "queer pointer", BTW: "gaydar" sounded a little anachronistic for a F/S story:)), but the story keeps getting bigger and bigger (unlike my allotment of writing time). When I started writing, I thought a drouble would be enough, but it has now reached 1600 words, and I haven't tackled the seduction scene yet. At this rate, I'll be posting it as a mathom on my birthday!
