Poor Sam indeed. He had good intentions, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions, as they say. Fortunately, he won't stay in hell for too long.:)

Oh my, whyever did Sam take it? He can't have known what it actually was. I think Frodo needs to wake up and smell the coffee... as it were. Then there'd be no need for the darn pointer ever again! :-DDD I can't wait for Sam's explanation and Frodo's epiphany.

Oooh, Bagma, this is so much fun!! I love befuddled Sam, not understanding what the queer pointer is and I love Frodo being all distracted and ooooh, them holding hands!!!!

This bit was so lovely:
“Well, maybe you do at that... But a lovely scarecrow, then, and one I wouldn't mind coming near if I were a bird,”
That is soooo Sam, revealing more than he wanted to.

And oooooh, I love how the Elvish pointer looks and I'm very very very intrigued as to why Sam took it!!!!!! Must run and read the next part straight away!!!

I'm glad to hear you like the story!:)

As much as I love a good sex scene, I've always found there's something deeply moving in the image of two lovers just holding hands.
