Better late than never...

I started writing the following fic for the last Waymeet challenge, Genre Challenged, but unfortunately I didn't manage to finish it in time, even with the generous extension the mods had given me. It was a disappointment for me, because I really liked the theme and I found the prompts very inspiring. But RL, true to its frustrating self, got in ( Read more... )

OOOOOHHHH - I can't wait to see how this ends!! And a very inspired use of "loofah" too!!

I loved your description of poor Mr. Wormwood after his dealings with LSB - as well as everything else - I could picture it all so clearly!! I really enjoyed this and look forward to the end!!

Many thanks for the lovely comment! I'm glad to hear you were able to picture Mr. Wormwood clearly. I have a very vivid picture of him in my mind.:)

I should be able to post the second part this weekend, so you won't have too much to wait.

Sam's all excited about seeing a bit of real Oliphaunt horn, but I suspect Frodo's excitement is rather different. *g*

Looking forward to reading the rest of this. :))

Sam can be very naive sometimes, but it's a part of his charm.:)

Thank you very much for reading and commenting!

Oh, Bagma, I'll be on pins and needles until I know what Frodo has planned for his new 'find'!

I just can say that Frodo has planned something worthy of a NC-17 rating...;)

Thank you very much for the lovely comment!:)

Thank you! I'm very happy to hear you liked it and you found Mr. Wormwood funny. I know there's a lot of people who don't like OCs, but he's the kind of character that pops in your head, looking more real than some colleagues and neighbours, and demanding you put him in a story ASAP. So I complied.:)

How did I miss this? Well, better late than never.

I really love the tone of that story. Dear, kind, shy Sam and mischievous, knowing Frodo.

Can't wait to see what applications Frodo finds with this object in the name of science, of course, and with the help of Sam.

Can't wait to see how the party go, too.

in the name of science, of course

Of course! Frodo's all in favour of experimenting, especially if said experimenting involves Sam manipulating some phallic artifact.;)

Many thanks for reading and commenting!:)
