Awwwww, thank you so very much, dear Anne!! What a hot, hot tale - omg, where to start? I loved that Frodo felt he could trust Sam, I loved it when Sam first touched Frodo all over (especially the buttocks!), and omg, it really got very hot in here when I got to the part where Frodo asks Sam to wrap his arms around him and Sam does so tightly. *melts* OMG, all of it was very very very erm exciting... :)))) And ahahaha, the ending! Iwonder where Sam will be working from the next day onwards... ;-)

I really need to re-read the first part but I have to get up early tomorrow to finish the gateau I'm taking in to work tomorrow (we always celebrate our birthday at work on Wednesdays because that is the day where everyone comes together via video conference and where the colleagues sing happy birthday, present their gift and get cake in return. :D)

Birthday at work was great - everyone loved the cake I had made and I got an Amazon voucher, a scented candle (lavender :DDD) and there's something else on the way that hasn't reached me yet because the postal services aren't working properly with all the flooding at the moment. So I still have something to look forward to... - I think I'll also make a photo post with the presents from Other Half - they were quite fandom-heavy... :D

Thank you! I was rereading the LotR bit about the Golden Perch, and the next thing I knew I was imagining what could happen in an inn called the Golden Cock.:) Imagination is a wonderful thing, even if in that case I surely made Tolkien roll in his grave!
