A quick note, and using LJ again, since I can't find your email address -- I haven't heard from you about possibly attending the Missouri Valley History Conference (you or your thesis director)? We had some flexibility of deadline, but the panels are firming up, and if either or both of you are planning to attend, I need you to drop me a line ASAP so I can forward the information about the conference (when and where, etc.), and we also need a title and abstract from you, so we can finish up the program. jreameszimmerman@mail.unomaha.edu
Even if you can't do it, let me know if you would, so I have some idea of who may attend. (And even if you don't present, you're still welcome to attend, of course.)
So far, we have 4-5 Greek papers, and 3 Roman papers, folks coming from Nebraska, but also Iowa, St. Olaf's in Minnesota, and some fellow from out west. Let me know! We'd love to have a Kansas contingent. :-)
