Been a coon's age since I updated, I know. Working in an American Western Heritage museum kind of cuts me off from my ancient antiquities, though I keep up best I can. I didn't read about this man and the mummy of Ramses II but, knowing how these things work, I think it can be possible, I mean, is possible that the hair really come from the mummy. I always shiver thinking how many precious finds we have lost in years...I remember a very important text from ancient christianity, the "Epistola ad Diognetum", who has been found by an historian: it was used as package for fishes in a market in Constantinople...
