Fun with travel!

Hello from San Antonio! Next week we're on travel to my "home" site of Huntington Beach, followed by a week in (probably) Seattle, and then another week (or so) in St Louis. I've probably spent a total of three months in St Louis this year. Long hours and weekend work mean I never get to see the city in the daytime, so I still only know the area ( Read more... )

Someone at Penny Arcade was saying that California Mexican food was better, but yeah, I don't really care for baja myself either. At least I think I don't.

It must be hard to level when you're on the road so much.

I'm already level 60, but I get your meaning. I actually do have it installed on the company laptop and sometimes I'll pay for (read: have the company pay for) the internet so I can play it. I suspect on these upcoming trips I'll be somewhat unable to. We shall see.

As for mexican food. California has a lot of bland mexican food, particularly when you compare it to the stuff they serve in San Antonio. For example, texmex here puts ham or something in the beans and zomg it is like heaven.

And that brings me to another topic: I have visibly gained weight this year! Throughout highschool and college, I probably gained like ten pounds all together. This year on travel, I've gained another ten.
