My jersey is good for another 10 years! :D  And of course I only heard about the news after getting home from work.  It's not like I would frantically text my co-worker across the room during a meeting to check ESPN on his BlackBerry because I knew that some kind of last-minute press conference was being held.  I am a serious working professional.

Thankfully I had no voice to make any kind of excited outbursts. I did have to quickly wipe a silly smile off my face, though.

Regardless, even if Backstrom gets traded or changes his number, the worth of the jersey will go up even higher!
