i feel like i should post something in this thing before too much of 2010 goes by, but i don't know what would be of interest to anyone but Future Me in six months who's bored and decides to look through old posts to see how things are changing

mental cycling. it's what i do when i physically cycle to work.
on social theory. I've been debating on grade school lately. namely, what amount of immediate good can come from anthropology? I'm not into the whole hurry up and wait latent good that comes from teaching. After-school programs have made me jaded. I'm thinking about turning to the dark side: law. It would make mother proud.

yeah... i had pretty much come to the conclusion that i'll end up in law. not that that's bad... i'd like to do immigration law.
