Your SI's are gorgeous--I wish I'd thought of putting them in partial shade like you did.

thanks, it's about 1/2 shade actually, it's in my backyard and there is a huge clump of them, more each year and they get much taller and prettier than the ones in full sun. ZSomehow the blooms are about three times bigger too than the ones I put in full-sun.

They aren't getting as heat stressed then.
The SI's do love their water.

I'm so jealous! It's been so hot here that most of the veggies I've planted hasn't made it! That said, my pumpkins are thriving-go figure. At least they'll fill in the gaps where the other veggies didn't survive.

we've had WaaaaaY TOO much rain, I'm hoping for sunny soon, I do have all my 'rain' barrels full for the regularly scheduled July/August drought.

Is that swiss chard I see in the first pic??

no, I have Rutabegas and turnips, I don't like chard much but the greens from the other two are yummy. If you are thinking the row in from is chasrd, no, it's spinach.

Do you see the cd hanging there? as per your thread re:
"soap??"

so far the cd's are working, but we've fed the deer with grain recently and the Mulberries are ripe so they don't need our garden now, anyway.
