Journey

*sniffle* *lip quiver* *sigh*

Well they weren't wrong. It was a tear jerker. So emotional. So sweet.

They really do know how to jam pack alot of stuff into one episode. I'm amazed that they did everything so fluidly. I mean before we knew it Regionals was already underway within 15 minutes of the show starting!

Okay seriously, is there a better teacher on the planet than Mr Schuester? Those kids love him so much. Their song dedication to him was so touching and beautiful. OMG, they'd be nothing without him. "you are glee". Even Sue saw that.

I really enjoyed ND medley. So much fun and great homage to the pilot ep. VA were pretty darn impressive too. Well Jessie was the only standout. The rest were just backup which to me doesn't seem very appropriate for a club where as ND had more group member participating in the singing. But Gily you got your full song! 2 actually if you count To Sir with Love that came later. I loved how they incorporated Bohemian Rhapsody with Quinn giving birth. Brilliant! and Pucks reactions were priceless! Subtle but awesome. lol

I knew they wouldn't win. As soon as I heard Sue was going to be a judge I had a feeling. Surprised that she actually voted for them in the end. But that was because she got to feel how they felt finally event though she'd die first before admitting that to Will.

It's good that they didn't win. They can't have an easy road so quickly. If this show is going to last, it has to have set backs.  Now they're more determined to start fresh next year. I wonder if we're going to see another Sectionals and Regionals or if they're going to breeze through them and focus on other performances that creep up through the year. Nationals is still unattainable at this point.

3 boys. 3 I love yous.

Finn - addaboy! Yeah you do. And you're a doll.

Puck - Okay nice first step. Now make it stick okay. Try at least. Please. I know you're a teenager and all and you can't expect much from teenage boys but it would be nice to see you actually commit. See how it feels. You never know, you might like it. Even if it doesn't last. Which it might not and that's okay. Just give it go and man up.

Will - "I love you Emma. There I said it. And you love me too. I don't care about the dentist, this thing isn't over between us"  *kiss*  That son, is how it's done.  Claim your woman Will. The dentist can suck it. She's yours, you know it, she knows it. Time for mr carl dentist to know it now.

To Sir With Love
No words. From begining to end I was a puddle. a sopping blubbering puddle.  I love it when teachers get the recognition like this.

Somewhere over the Rainbow was darling. Loved that they ended with the song that got Matthew Morrison the part! It's so fitting and so perfect.

The only thing I really really didn't like about this ep was the Shelby factor. Okay so now she has a baby that she's always wanted. Time to throw away Rachel. Nice knowing ya. On to greener pastures. Great. So that's that. If they're going to do this, fine. She can't EVER come back. And that pains me because I love Idina. But her ties with Rachel are too close to the birth parents and if this was a real adoption they wouldn't allow it. Plus it never NEVER would have gone through so quickly. It just wouldn't have been acceptable no matter how fantastic a person Shelby is. So to make it somewhat believable they need to be rid of her for good. No returns to show off cute Beth and how much she grown. Quinn doesn't need that. Puck doesn't either. That's just cruel. Not to mention the hurt with Rachel it would cause. No Shelby can't ever come back.

Other than that I have to say this was a very strong season finale. It left me teary yet hopeful which is what they promised to do and they succeeded.  On to season 2. A whole 2 and a half months or so away. One long summer ahead.
