So on the Will thread at the Glee board I posted my wish list of songs I want Matthew Morrison to sing on the show, and I thought I post it here to just to keep as a record. It's an ongoing list. Seems like every day I hear another classic top 40 song that just screams "Will must sing this!" so I hope to add to it. Personally I think it might be

Although I already had Brown Eyed Girl picked out for Finn to sing to Rachel, so we might have to do battle over that one, lol.
As for your lack of showtune knowledge, that's what I am here for my friend!! You bring the 80s/90s rock, I'll bring the showtunes!
Given we know Matt has some dance moves I think they need to let him do some Gene Kelly stuff as well. The only tap we have really had so far is Mike and Tina on Dream a Little Dream.
I've been trawling through the musicals stuff on Youtube in recent times looking for possible songs, mostly for Lea and Matt because that's their wheelhouse.
Of course I'm also trawling for potential Rachel/Shelby duets for when Shelby returns at some point, lol.
I also strongly believe they have to work some ABBA in there at some point but having been a 9 year old girl when ABBA were at the peak of their powers in 1977, I would say that wouldn't I!!

Just today I thought of another obvious one. Footloose!!! Matt was in the 1998 broadway production but even despite that he NEEDS to sing the Kenny Loggins song. OR as an alternative -'Almost Paradise'. I have a grainy video of Matt when he got to step into the lead role (he was the understudy) at only 19-20 years old. So cute! And he did so well for his first time.
