Has anyone ever seen Dexter? It's one of those Showtime original shows like Weeds or The Sopranos. Except it's waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than any of those. In fact, I'd wager it's the best series in movie channel history

you should give the juno soundtrack a listen. even if you haven't seen the movie yet, it's great. it's all i've been listening to.

and i always always see dexter on, but never stopped to watch it. i definitely will next time i do.

I think that once I actually have a night off to see Juno, I will be bereft with wonderment. I can't wait.

also, I've been thinking about watching Dexter. since with the strike there's nothing to watch anyway, it probably wouldn't hurt to pick up a new show. I've been hearing great things about it too. apparently it had a great season (not sure if it was 1 or 2) finale...

I've heard a lot about Kimya Dawson from one of my coworkers. But it's kind of embarassing since he's only 17 and I feel so old and out of the loop. Imma get on that, son.

Dexter is freaking amazing. WE're not done watching the first season yet - hopefully we'll get to finish tonight and tomorrow night - I'm addicted.

Unfortunately, I can't go to the Summit because I am working. And it really sucks because this is Audrey Assad's last show and we've been going to see her for years! And Mike D will be there and he's never here anymore because the band moved to Nashville! SADFACE.

haha. yeah, if you haven't seen Juno yet, you're going to get a full dose of Kimya Dawson when you do. Between her and the Moldy Peaches, that's all they actually play during the movie. it's really awesome.

I think what I'm going to check and see if Netflix has any of Dexter. that's totally how I watched the first season of Heroes. they let you stream so many hours of whatever they have for 'watch it now' and they even do stuff that's not out on dvd yet. most of heroes season two is up already.

and yeah - that's really too bad about having to work on Friday. I was in that position for ALL of last semester. I didn't get to do anything :( too bad we need the money, right?
