I don't want to read this excerpt, don't want any spoilers since I just bought your book but didn't have any time to read it.... Cannot wait for vacation for this and Jenna's book ! ;o)
I'm so looking forward to this, but I wish I had known about the giclee print - I happened to be getting Footprints by Clare London the other night and saw the pre-order option, so jumped in to try it (I think being able to pre-order is wonderful), by ordering this and Talons of the Condor.
Anne Cain's original cover is so beautiful that the editors couldn't resist offering it. I love it! And I can't wait to hear what you think of Kaji when you have time to read it. I'm so glad a publishing house like Dreamspinner exists for people like us. *big hug*
I'll be reading it as soon as possible! I'm hoping it arrives in time for one of my days off (I'm using up my annual leave by taking every second Wednesday off). The cover is fabulous - perhaps there will be some of the giclee's left when I order my next print book from DSP (as I have Sindustry 1 coming in ebook, I will stick to that for 2.)
Hey, would I be able to buy the ebook from Amazon/somewhere else? Tried getting it at Dreamspinner but I don't have Paypal... so I need somewhere which would take credit cards.
Just finished my print copy that I picked up at Bishie Con in St. Louis...Kudos and applause all around! Loved the "talking to the reader" bit in the epilogue...and PLEASE tell me Yoshi-san gets an HEA someday. Kazuki and Kaji were amazing, Ben and Rune were gorgeous, but all that mystical, witty, naughty-talking hawtness deserves a worthy end to his "hiatus". He seemed like one of those supporting characters who turned out so intriguing that you had to send him far away to keep him from taking over the book!
Always a treat to find a gorgeous story that matches its gorgeous cover!
Hello! Please forgive my procrastination in answering. And please feel free to write me at bailey.connie@gmail.com. I don't check LJ very much these days.
I'm thrilled that you liked Yoshi-san. He ended up being my favorite character, sort of like Han Solo in Star Wars. Not exactly a nice guy, but he does the right thing, you know?
I had an awesome time at Bishie-Con and I'm already planning to come back next year. I hope you'll be there too. I had a great time talking with you at the table. Maybe next year we could arrange dinner/lunch/drinks/whatever?
