1. MAN MEAT! 2. Experiment with B/W inked art - no colours! See what kind of dramatic lighting effects you can achieve. (Unless you've done this already?) 3. Tawny brown (since that appears most frequently on your characters). 4. Your tireless efforts to develop your art, and experiment with new subjects of composition. 5. When you pinged me on FA (I think) and said you'd seen my work in the Anthrocon programme book. Prior to this, I'd already noticed your name on the "isocomic" community, and seen your art in various places (though I can't specifically remember where). 6. Big Cat (isn't this question kinda redundant for furries?). :) 7. Have you had formal art lessons, or are you self-taught? (Apologies if this is common knowledge already, I've never heard anything about this.)
I have done simple black and white before, and I often do monochrome with just brown as well. Though I can always do it again. It can only help =3 Sure.
Yes I do enjoy warm colors =3 Lions are a favorite, and I have about 10 lion fur colors for body along on my pallet saved ^^
Thanks guy- I really do appreciate you saying that. It means the absolute world to me. My mind is getting ready for another production cycle. Oo;
I am self taught- though a majority of my instruction comes from artists like yourself, and many of the peers here in the fandom. I work to get feedback, and the feedback makes me try new things and new methods, constantly working =3
I really wish I did have the benefit of formal lessons, for a time I was doing so but the teacher is no longer available. I am going ot try to inquire about him again.

Artists like moi? :) The work you've shown on LJ and FA is *better* than anything I've come up with! - the most interesting being the sketches where the original figure-drawing outlines are visible. It's always fascinating to see how a piece of art develops, usually more so than the final, perfect image!
1. Universal translator! 2. Try your hand at drawing. If you're skilled at playing the piano and cooking, there must be a visual artist in there somewhere... :) 3. Russet brown. 4. The way you explore your hobbies/interests with great enthusiasm. I've always found myself *lacking* in curiosity... Very few things interest me enough for me to seriously check them out. Consequently I think my general knowledge suffers, as well as my personal exposure to/knowledge of different areas of experience. 5. Vince's cute drawing of Dermot, which he posted on LJ, and his description of you plying him with sweets. :) 6. Foxy! 7. What level of fluency in a language do you aim for, before being satisfied in having mastered the basics?
1. ^^; I'm only fluent in English... 2. Already done. 3. ^^ 4. Well, I do perseverate... 5. That was once a nice memory... But it's in the past. 6. ^^ 7. An acceptable recall of grammar, vocabulary and social registers.
1. Guinness! 2. Run naked through the park at night! (No, wait, you've done this...) 3. Green (heh). 4. The adventurous spirit that brought you to study/work in the U.S. I kinda regret not having done something similar when I was younger. 5. Seeing the portrait of you by Vince and wondering why the wolf had raccoon markings - and what he was GRYNNING about. :) 6. Wolf! 7. Did your brothers *really* give you a hard time when you "came out", or was it mostly teasing? Did they ever try setting you up with a hot babe to "realign your compass"? :) (Okay, so that's *two* questions...)
1) Well, I'm not a HUGE Guinness fan, but I've been known to have it occasionally! 2) Heh heh.... ^^;; 3) NO way! :P 4) Yup, it sure was a lot of fun, alright - and I can't wait to head back to the US this summer! :D 5) He's grinning cos he's a complete letch! XD 6) That question is kinda redundant for furries! 7) Nah, just teasing. None of my family really cared, it was just a little weird at first! And no, no set-ups, thank god!

As the_gneech recently wrote, the only way to achieve anything is to keep plugging away at it... Something else I need to remember.
