In attempts, or so it was publically said, to help the iraqi people in their civil war, America sent 100,000 troops on March 20th, 2003 to " to disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction, to end Saddam Hussein's support for terrorism, and to free the Iraqi people".
Years have passed, and what have they accomplished?

they're not really staying there so much because of the WMD anymore as they are to "fight terrorism" and, according to him, freeing the iraqi people. So his rational for this war is basically for the good of the iraqi people and to oppose terrorism. How much of it is bull and how much we don't know is anybody's guess
