[Sup. It's Jack. Or, Jack's head, at least, poking out of a huge pile of leaves. There are leaves stuck in his long, blonde braid.

He is grinning from ear to ear like a crazy person.]I love the smell of fallen leaves, don't you? It's sad they're dead, but at least they're wearing such pretty colors in their repose ( Read more... )

But you'll get dirty!

That's all right! A little dirt isn't something to be afraid of.

What if you ruin your clothes, though?! Some stains don't come out!

Clothes are only clothes. I'd rather enjoy life to the fullest than worry about what I'd do if they got dirty.

If I didn't have to work, I'd so be right there with you.

What a shame! But I can't fault a working woman. Maybe some other time? I don't think the leaves are going anywhere just yet.

Absolutely! I haven't jumped in leaves in far too long.

Neither have I! And they looked too inviting to resist.

[!!!!!!

Dear, stupid Gilbert. What are you saying, indeed. But you're trying so very hard, aren't you. Endearing to a fault.]

You needn't worry about my coat, Gil. I took it off.

...Though I don't quite recall where I put it.

[ Sakura giggles at the display of jumping and frolicking. ]

I don't think I've ever seen anything like this at home - but my favorite season is by far spring. [ It's not like it has anything to do with her name or anything. ] When the flowers come back. Though, this autumn seems very lovely.

Anything like- [lifting his arms out of the pile to scatter leaves about] -the leaves, you mean? Well that simply won't do at all!

Though I admit spring is beautiful. Almost as beautiful as the color of your hair.

Yeah. When it's fall they just usually fall off and just become the same brown over and over again. [ The compliment catches her off guard, however. She blushes and nods a bit at Jack's words. ] Thank you for the compliment! My hair really is a nice color, huh? My name is Sakura Haruno, so I think you can already guess why I like spring so much. [ And she'll finish that sentence with a very tiny laugh. ]

Well, they all turn brown, in time. Brown and dry and crackly. But right before they fall from the trees and right after...You should come see for yourself!

[That's two girls he's made blush today. SCORE.]

Yes, it is. I knew a girl with hair nearly the same shade, but yours is a bit brighter. It's a pleasure to meet you, Sakura. I'm Jack. [A half-bow, in the leaves. So suave.]

Does Sakura mean spring? I confess your name isn't familiar to me.

[ He almost mistook you for Oz, you know. Thank goodness the hair is longer. ]

Pleasant or not, please don't cause a mess for others.

[ and get those leaves all in the house. he shudders just thinking of the work Jack's poor maids must be put through! And worse, the state of his house if Jack didn't have a cleaning maid to do the work for him. ]

((ooc: I hope you don't mind late! I was out of town all weekend.))

[Ahhhh, Liam Lunnettes. There you are. Jack schools his features into the most cherubic expression he can muster.]

I'm out of doors, which should be the one place messes are permitted without any fuss.

[ooc; I'm just as late, so I certainly don't! /shakes fist at work]

[ pressing his glasses higher, he takes a good look at Jack's location. It's a complete unknown. Truly, he needed to explore this city a bit better, and soon. ]

Perhaps, but the groundskeeper would surely prefer that you left his work undisturbed.

[ If there even was one, and it does little credit to Jack's hero image to have him frolicking in the leaves. Scandalous! ]

[Come to the playground Liaaaaaaaaaaaaaam. It's where the adults go. Honest.]

Leaves are easily pushed back into piles again. Don't fuss so much. You'll give yourself wrinkles.

[Oh, you mean the hero image he recently destroyed himself back home? THAT hero image?]
