Tarak Peak Revisited
There were two reasons for my return to Tarak last weekend (my last visit was 19 months ago - BMC 2005 TC2) - (1) I’m intrigued of the reported changes in the trail brought about by the series of typhoons that hit Luzon last year; and more importantly (2) it’s a good workout for my upcoming climb to Mt. Guiting-guiting (G2).

Mt. Sembrano at last!
Finally, I was able to set foot on the 743-meter* summit of Mt. Sembrano, 13 years after I first learned about this mountain situated at the southern most tip of Rizal Province.
