I was fearful of seeing photos by viewing the link but relieved it gave me text info to follow although still painful to read. I wrote the other gallery that is planning on showing him.
This is disgusting and although I'm all for freedom of speech, the loss of life I do not believe is protected here. His defense was weak at best, claiming that dogs die everyday. So do humans, but you better believe several governments would be at one's door if the same "art" was attempted with a human. I do believe this is where I am at my cruelest point and think he should be made to suffer just as his art. Art is suffering because the artist willingly subjects themself to their own art and their own suffering to create something. Not at the pain or suffering of others, and when they do this, to me, that is cheating.
Thousands of animals are abused and starved at the hands of humans, we don't call them artists and we don't call what they do art. To allow it to happen in front of you, only further proves how reluctant the human race is to get involved and make a change. They are just as guilty to me.
If that was his message, than yes, it was totally lost on me. Because my mind was not on the people, the world, or anything in that moment, it was on an animal that had not asked to be there and end its life in such a way
( ... )
I saw this post of yours yesterday but did not really read it with comprehension. The so called "Artist" that is responsible for said post of yours should be arrested and charged with murder. YES, that is what I said, MURDER ! First Degree Murder. Or maybe tied to a post himself and starved to death in the name of JUSTICE !

I would have forcibly taken the dog myself.
