yeah, it's important. I didn't really pay attention to my health up until now, so it's about time I did.

true, it's kinda hard, at least now at the beginning. I kinda got used to not eating meat already, but not eating chocolates and stuff like that too.. It's tough. But i'll do my best!

i've been a vegetarian for almost two years now. i quit cold turkey (haha, nice pun), and i never really looked back. it's funny because it wasn't hard for me, but it's safe to assume it's hard for others...

anyway - i guess i wanted to express that being a vegetarian is way cool. it was one of the best decisions i've ever made. i feel a lot better health-wise, so just stick with it. :D

It's great you feel healthier already.

I've been vegetarian since I was 14, now I'm 22. People always go 'ooooh is it because of the animals?' and i say 'of course it is!' But it's also because I don't like the taste/texture of pork, lamb, veil and any gooby bits, or anything that tastes like a butcher shop for that matter. Also at big family dinners my grandma would always try to force me to eat meat when I was little so this also had something to do with it.

My body doesn't crave meat but I know people, like one of my friends who couldn't live without it, she is a self confessed complete carnivore and she loves meat and craves it.

Going vegetarian was my own decision and I never preach vegetarianism - i respect meat eaters and what they choose to eat. The only down side for me being vegetarian is I often get physically tired if I don't take an iron supplement, everything else is great.

To be honest I like meat too, that's why it was hard the first days, but now I don't even think about it, I don't crave for it. And the reason I took the decision was both for my health, and the animals.

By the way, I added you back!
