Thursday is Pearl Harbour Remembrance Day.
One of the things I remember most about my Grandpa is even when he could barely shuffle or hear, couldn't see, and would forget what day it was, he'd be out with his Veteran's groups and Rotary and whatever and getting people to sign petitions to make Pearl Harbour Day a national holiday. But I have to say I read this and was like, "I know about Pearl Harbour Day! But isn't it in Dec..? Like the 7th or something?" THEN I realized what day it was. And felt like an ass. ^_^
