Thank goodness for people who donate books and for your willingness to be the librarian! I use my church library often, and will donate the purchased books as soon as I'm finished reading them.

I'm becoming a Catechumen after Pascha! **happy dances**

Congratulations! I'm very glad for you and hope your time as a Catechumen is an enriching one.

Like I said, the library idea grew out of my own Catechumen experience, and in my readings I've actually learned that in the Former Soviet Union Church libraries were actually banned (musn't let the people learn the faith!), so to be helping to put together a library like this means a lot.

Are you still the church librian? I think that is a great idea! I still am wanting to check into the orthodox faith, it seems that it doesn't have all the controversy that the Roman Catholic faith has.

How cool that you and your wife are going to sail the Carribean! I always wanted to take a cruise but Wayne never wanted too. *pout*

Yeah, it's cool because quite a few of the parishioners have volunteered their books, so it's slowly coming together.

And yeah, we're both looking forward to our trip big time! ^_^
