~one bucket of tears~ PART 2
I might decide to make this a multi-chaptered fic if I have the time and the sanity. If you find the story confusing, well, the storyline is not linear (think of it as something like Quentin Tarantino's works, non-linear series of events *LOL*). It started with flashbacks of random moments, and now, it's the "beginning of the end". *For the meantime, this is FRIENDS-LOCKED.

Shounen Club. The place to be - for rich, young boys to have fun and enjoy themselves. It's also a place where F4 rules...a legal party house...
Tsukasa: OK guys, let's sit there, I can already see the "RESERVED FOR F4" banner.
Akira: C'mon, let's go.
Tsukasa Domyouji is a usual sight in Shounen Club. He loves the nightlife so much...and people see him as the king of the club. (so whenever he enters the scene, think of the intro of Arashi no Carnival... XD)
And because he's the "king"...
Tsukasa: Don't dare mess up my hair!!!
Domyouji's right-hand man is Mimasaka Akira, another party-lover, but he is much more sociable...(and whenever Akira appears, the intro of Gentles plays. ^^)
Akira: Hello everyone, I'd like to dedicate a song to my friends...Hey Domyouji *waves* , Soujirou, and Rui!
Soujirou: Make it good Akira!!
Tsukasa and Akira, when they are together, rock Shounen Club, being the only ones to enjoy most of the time. Soujirou is much more into tea ceremonies, while Rui stays at home and spends his time reading or playing the piano.
Tsukasa: Hey yo, we're F4...
Akira: Tsukasa, keep quiet.
When they are complete, they are all happy... they love the disco too, well, maybe except for the very shy Rui or the serious Soujirou. XD
You can see how strong their friendship is...
Yeah...that's Shounen Club.
And now...Akira's birthday party.
It's been thirty minutes and Rui wasn't still there. Tsukasa's getting impatient and he keeps on looking at his silver wristwatch. Akira checks his phone to see if Rui has replied to his messages. After the long wait...
Rui: Sorry guys, I'm late. Happy Birthday Akira, I mean, Belated Happy Birthday.
Akira: It's alright, we're now complete! It's time to party!!!
Tsukasa: Another kind of tea? Part Tea? Wow, it's your discovery now, Akira!
Soujirou: *smiles* There's nothing like that Tsukasa, just dance, OK? Maybe you're hungry!
Rui: Tsukasa, I'm sorry.
Tsukasa: Nah, Rui, let's be happy today!
Akira: Anyway Tsukasa, you said you just sneaked out. Is that true?
Tsukasa: Yeah, I called Soujirou to pick me up so we can go here together. Old fart doesn't want me to hang out with you guys anymore so I pretended I was asleep and they thought I was obeying...but I had to crawl my way through the garden so I won't get seen riding on Soujirou's motorcycle.
Soujirou: And I had to wait for 15 minutes outside!
Akira: How 'bout ya, Rui?
Rui seemed to be serious...
Tsukasa: Hey Rui, what's wrong? *grabbing Rui's arm*
Rui: Guys, I'm really sorry, but I won't be a part of the group from now on.
Soujirou: Huh? Whad'dya mean?
Akira: Let's listen to what he's going to say.
And at that moment, they stopped dancing. Afterwards, the four sat on the spot they usually occupy.
Rui: I'm going. It's not that I don't love the three of you, but I have to leave.
Tsukasa: You're not leaving Rui! I know the past months have been hard for the four of us. We were forbidden to see each other, and we even had to be separated, transferring schools, forced to go abroad to study and all that! But Rui...we're friends, and we promised it's forever...
Akira: Yes, Rui, we've had a lot of memories, so why now Rui? Why?!?!
Rui: I know! But see, I have to do this not for my own good...but it's also for you...
Soujirou: Rui, for the sake of our friendship...please...please, don't go...
Tsukasa ordered the door to be locked, but Rui stopped him...
Rui: You don't have to... I made up my mind.
Tsukasa: Leave the jokes to Akira, Rui! I'm not kidding!
Rui: And I'm not kidding too, Tsukasa!
Tsukasa suddenly became silent, stunned with Rui's strong reply...something that he has never done before. He was used to hearing his soft comments, and his quietness almost at all times.
Soujirou: Rui...so, whatever we'll do won't change your mind anymore?
Rui: Yes, I am sorry, I hope you'll understand...
Tsukasa; How can we under-...? *his mouth covered by Akira's shaking hand*
Akira: For one last time, can we go to our favorite place?
And the four walked their way to a park where they usually go...
Soujirou: Now where are you planning to go? What are you planning to do?
Rui: Study somewhere else...far away... *looks up and gazes at the stars*
Akira: It was a very hard decision, right? As for me, I don't know what I'm going to do the day I just realize that we're not four anymore...
Soujirou: *nods* Me too... I might stop drinking tea as well...
They all look at Tsukasa who was already crying... He recalls his fondest memories of Rui...
Rui: Tsukasa, you want a ride on my back?
Tsukasa: Gah, Rui...of all things why that?
Rui: C'mon Tsukasa, I might never offer doing that anymore!
Rui: Y'know what, I want to thank you...
Tsukasa: For what?
Rui: When we were kids, you used to shout back at those who think I was a weirdo. That meant so much to me...Thanks.
Tsukasa: Thank you too Rui...I'm just sad that people don't see my other side...they judge me just because I'm a spoiled brat.
Rui: People ask me why I'm so comfortable being with you. I tell them that even if you're the world's biggest brat with horns in your head...you still make me feel like I'm with an angel.
Rui approached Tsukasa...
Rui: Tsukasa...I want to say it again...Thank you...with all of my heart...for all of the memories we've had together, for everything you've done to me...
Tsukasa: I'm sorry, Rui...
Rui: I know...peaches won't make me shrink. *smiles wiping Tsukasa's tears, and he takes out a peach from his pocket, handing it to Tsukasa*
Akira: *laughs* It's just so unbelievable, but because Rui loves you, he didn't make you feel he knew about it.
Soujirou: Care to have a group hug?
Hours passed, and they sat on the swings, remembering the days they used to play in that same playground. When Rui had to go, it rained. They weren't able to feel their own tears, as those were washed away by the falling drops of the sky's tears. They watched him disappear from their sight...and as the rain stopped, the beautiful sunrise appeared.
Tsukasa: Its not goodbye...but so long. What is communication for? We're still F4!
Akira and Soujiro: Yeah!
