[So you're just doing your magic tricks for some NPC dudes/dudettes who happen to be walking by, cool. Well Byrne sees you, recognizes you right off the bat and wants to come say hi. But instead of interrupting your show to run up to you and be all like HAY WATZUP, he politely lets you finish your show, watching from the sidelines and being all interested and whatnot. Magic is kind of interesting, after all!

And then after you're done and the crowds disperse, Byrne just sort of, y'know, shows up beside you with little to no warning, warm smile on his face and just being normal friendly Byrne. OHAI FRIEND OF KAY!

Also, there happens to be a Vulpix following him and a random Wooper on his shoulder, smiling a derpy smile at everyone. This is normal, do not panic.]

[That is voice two of two he didn't expect to hear (and this one managed to sneak up on him better than Kay's did). He doesn't jump (he's far too composed for that), but he does glance over his shoulder, a brief moment of surprise registering on his expression before poker face takes over once more]

[He's fiddling with a coin in between his fingers as he addresses Byrne with a grin. He is actually a WHOLE lot more nervous than he's letting on since dads of his best girl friends tend to frighten him, but he's good at holding it in]

Meanwhile Little Thief is watching from beside Byrne and Kaito and is just :| at the Wooper family reunion. Unamused Little Thief is unamused.]

Oh! Well that explains it! [Byrne feels happier now knowing that fact, and it shows. So he can reunite Tal with more relatives than just her mother!] Ah, actually, Miles just gave her to me.

He did? Heh... I guess that makes sense. Kay has Flapper, and I have Jo. I guess she gets to spend more time with her family now.

[Byrne laughs. Excuse him but those Woopers are just too CUTE.] Yeah, Flapper was the reason he gave her to me. He told me how much Tal loves seeing her family and that she'd be happy if I could reunite her with her mother. So I guess that's my mission now, to have a grand Wooper family reunion.
