There are reports that Fox, who announced their intention and a producer for the creation of a live action Cowboy Bebop movie, has had Keanu Reeves set for the role of Spike for eight months now. I'm not exactly...upset, but I'm not exactly happy either

Any word on the other characters yet?
I know Blizzard wants to put Wrath of the Lich King out at the end of the year BAD, but it doesn't seem likely with them. Of course, since acquired by Activision, they may have to set their nitpickiness aside and get it out asap. I guess I won't complain, I'd love to have it for my birthday/christmas!

If things go the same way they did with Burning Crusade, they'll shoot for a pre-Christmas release and fail, winding up with January or February. However, from what I hear, the WotLK beta is way, way, waaay more polished at this point than BC was, and that an October or November release is fairly likely to happen. Not to mention their new Activision overlords, and the uncharacteristic declaration by one of the Blizzard higher-ups within the last few days that it WILL come out in Q4 2008.
Speaking of which, have you been following the news coming out of the Wotlk beta? It's all like

Job uncertainty sucks. Good luck with that. The Governator is trying to cut lots of state jobs and slash the pay of many others, but so far nobody at my summer job seems to think that I'm affected. It's still a bit unclear.
Sorry it's hot. You're welcome to come visit me, where it's not nearly so hot, but I know that's not terribly likely.
