“Jin, let's go there!”
“h.Naoto? But that's not what you usually w-”
“I know, but I saw a cool skull shirt.”
“Kazu~”
“Please?” Kazuya used his hurt puppy look on Jin and it seemed to work as the older one just sighed. Kazuya grinned victoriously and dragged the older one along. But when they were about to enter the shop, Kazuya saw in the corner of his eye a small child crouched, seemingly crying for something. The young man changed his direction towards the said child, the sudden turn making Jin whine.
“Kazu~where are you taking me?” he let out annoyed, but didn't take his hand away from the other's grip. Kazuya seemed to ignore him, his attention being focused on the kid.
“Why are you crying?” he crouched in front of the little girl. She looked up with tearful eyes at him and Kazuya just melt. “Kawaii~” he let out and smiled at her.
Jin was utterly and totally amazed at how his boyfriend made her stop crying, her lips even curve into a small smile. But then again, it was Kazuya he was talking about.
“Why are you crying?”
“I lost my mommy.” she let her gaze fall a bit, as new tears threatened to come out.
“Don't cry.” he raised her chin and looked at her. “Jin-nii-chan will go look for your mommy.” he smiled and looked at Jin, more like narrowed his eyes. “Isn't that right, Jin-nii-chan?” Jin gulped lightly and nodded, then sighed.
“No! I don't want onii-san to get lost too!” the girl threw herself at Jin's legs, hugging them, and looked up at Jin. And how could he resist her puppy eyes? He smiled and picked her up.
“Then we'll wait here with you until you mommy comes back, ok?”
“Un.” she let out happily.
Kazuya got up as well and joined them. They saw a bench and went to sit on it; just moments later, Jin got up and left for a few moments, leaving Kazuya with a questioning look on. As he returned, the two looked back at him and Jin could see the huge smile spreading across the girl's face.
“Here's some ice-cream for you, Miki-chan.” he gave her the ice-cream with a smile, then sat down.
“You bought only two?” he heard Kazuya say as he looked at him a bit disappointed.
“Well, yeah. One for Miki-chan and one for us.” he grinned and passed the ice-cream to his boyfriend.
“Oh my, what a lovely sight.” a middle-aged woman stopped in front of them and ruffled Miki's hair. “Such a young couple with such a pretty girl...” she smiled. In that second, Kazuya's face fell as he realized what the woman was saying. “With such pretty mother and father no wonder you're so cute.” she let out as she gave some candy to Miki.
“But I'm not...” Kazuya trailed off and looked at Jin, who was trying to suppress his laughter.
“Miki-chan! There you are!” all four figures turned their heads towards a beautiful woman in her thirties, hurrying in their direction.
“Kaa-chan!” the girl got up and sprinted to her mother.
“Ano...”
“Yes?” the older woman looked at Kazuya.
“That's Miki-chan's mother. And... I'm not even a girl.” he let out, a small pout finding its way on his face, which made Jin chuckle.
“I'm sorry, I just...”
“It's ok, it happens to him all the time.” Jin butted in. “We have to go now. Shitsureishimasu.” he let out and gripped Kazuya's wrist, taking him away.
When they got near the restrooms, Kazuya stopped, his pout growing wider. Jin couldn't resist it and pulled him inside the restroom, closing and locking the door.
“Why does it always have to happen to me? Why not to you?” he frowned a bit.
“Because you're too cute for your own good.” Jin approached him and leaned in, placing a soft kiss on his lips. But it didn't seem to wash away the younger one's pout. “Ne...” he raised Kazuya's chin to look into his eyes.
“What?” he asked, annoyed, moment in which Jin leaned in more, whispering something in his ear. In an instant all annoyance, any trace of pout and even his frown disappeared, his lips suddenly curving into a huge smile.
“Then why are we still here for? Come on.” Jin chuckled at his lover and followed him out of the restroom.
Jin thought that it's a good thing they found Miki-chan. That way, he got to see an extremely cute Kazuya and get his prize for a bet he made with the younger one, one that Kazuya seemed to forget about.
Yes, Jin was very pleased.
