i don't think it has to do with reverse gender roles--i think it has to do with the fact that it sucks when the learning, etc. is asymmetrical. it sucks when it doesn't go both ways.

but traditionally speaking, don't women asymmetrically learn from men? maybe you'd say that that sucks, too ( ... )
