*grumble* I got a new debit card in the mail today, and was TOTALLY confused until i realized that there was a letter too, and i guess they had an information leak or something and my card was "compromised" woo. now i have to go change my fucking card number everywhere! like, ebay, paypal, amazon, target.....omg the list goes on...escrip, im sure

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one having card issues!!
I went to register for an American Express card through costco and I was denied. hmm that is odd.. why? Well mam.. you have no credit score.. whatsoever! So you are denied.
Umm but I've had a credit card since I was 15...
Well apparently my parents didn't set it up so that I'm the one in charge of the account or whatever.. Even though the credit card company told my dad when he set it up that he and I would both have our credits affected (for better or worse) by the card.. My mom was the third party on it and it wouldn't benefit her credit. Oooohhh K! so now i'm screwed to getting crappy credit cards from like Bof A and WaMu until my credit score is built. grumble! Good thing I realized this now and not when I'm like trying ot buy a car or a house or something! The whole point of my parents getting me the card I have 7 yrs ago was so that at this point in my life I'd have 7 yrs of credit already!! grumble!

that sucks.....get a chase amazon.com card, they gave me that when i had NO credit. and you get amazon gift cards when you get enough points.
you can check your credit score online too free...anyways, good luck getting credit! lol

Oh no! You don't even have any credit from renting apartments or anything? Cause paying rent totally builds your credit.

You would think! I've had apartments for 4 yrs!! Nope apparently they do not affect my credit. WTF?
