Nostalgia is only an unattractive sentiment to people who can't enjoy it with you. Like if I started busting out nostalgia chit chat about the good ol days of BBSes and Dialup Modems, only people who were there at the time or that are later interested in antiquated technology might have any desire to participate in my nostalgia.

That being said, I think you'll find plenty of LJers who are in that zone with you.

I wish I had more time to write my longer thoughtful posts here. But I don't usually have time to do that now that i can kick if shorter ideas more frequently on Twitter, G+, Facebook and Friendfeed. When I do have longer posts I have LJ, My personal site (driven by wordpress) and a Tumblr account to use. Iffy about Tumblr, I see such a mix/match of short text, videos or images posted and others posting more lengthy stuff there. I just don't see where Tumblr fits in yet.

I should at some point in time start my reading habits back up and pick up your books. I kind of miss my long bus ride I could use for reading time.xo
