A woman who researches honeybees for U of MN (my intrepid employer) received a grant. This has sparked a giant news flurry of "Things! Happening! In! Minnesota!" on the radio. We get really thrilled when the rest of the country might talk about us in good ways.

One of my dissertation committee members (Dr. Padden) was honored. Very happy for her, but a bit worried about how this will impact the amount of time she has for providing me with feedback...
