it was! a challenge, for sure, but that made it all the more fulfilling when I got it. plus, being in shows has always been an amazing experience for me. :)

This was a great story. We're so used to thinking that things we dream of doing will come easy to us, but all too often, when the day finally comes, the difficulty involved can be really disheartening. Glad you were able to make your dream a reality. :)

ho boy, I breezed my way through salsa and tango when I first moved to Bermuda, and so the next year decided to try tap....

WHAT an ordeal that was! I don't think I've ever been so completely bad at anything in my life =)

I had the same experience. I can usually pick up dances fairly easily, but holy moley those tap moves were tricky!

*cheers* go you!! :D That sounds like so much fun! Makes me really miss my tap class too... although your production was probably more focused on the steps than our performances are ;) getting the steps right is of course a plus but the main thing is to look FABULOUS! xD

I always wanted to learn to dance as well but we didn't have that much extra money and my mother wasn't going to spend money on something that was just a phase. Though I still did gymnastics and tennis and swimming and choir...!

I did have a poke around when I first came over, but the only adult tap classes are for people who want to actually pass exams and stuff - nothing purely for fun around here! I'm just counting down until I go back home ;)
