The Adventure of the Resident Patient - Discussion Post

Mar 07, 2011 22:01

This week, we get a blast from the past as Watson narrates an old case, we are once again reminded of the dangers associated with job interviews, and nervous disorders are easy to fake in Victorian London, apparently.

DISCUSS.

Walk, walk, fashion baby, work it move that bitch cra-ay-zay.

1. Our old standby...how did you like this story?

2. According to Watson's dating system (which is always dodgy), this case takes place early in the boys' acquaintance. Do you note any significant changes in character between the supposed past and the more recent cases?

3. WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED ABOUT TOO-GOOD-TO-BE-TRUE JOB OFFERS, CHILDREN??

4. Do you feel like the denouement was fair to the reader, insomuch that the reader should be able to figure out the mystery on his/her own?

5. How many cases of deja vu did you get during this story?

6. How many cases of fangirl squee did you get during this story?
