Why aren't my Snickerdoodles cracking on top??

They look so similar to me...I'm not sure you are doing something wrong. Maybe if you wanted them to look cragier, you could refrigerate the dough a little bit.

Yup. Dough temp has more to do with the cracking than any of the ingredients. Colder dough will likely result in more pronounced cracking.

My dough is always refrigerated, usually I make it in bulk and freeze it and cook it frozen. I'm boggled!

Hm. Well, like the other commenter said, they do look good. Maybe not as pronounced as the "example" ones you posted, but if you set 'em down in front of me and asked what kind they were, I'd say snickerdoodle.
