So I have this problem.. Well i've had this problem for a few weeks now. It started as a sharp pain in my inner ear. Then it progreessed. Describing the pain what it feels like is that it hurts in the area behind and in the hinge of my jaw. When its really bad I have issues closing that side of my jaw because it feels like a piston

I got my wisdom teeth out when I was 19
There is no pain in my teeth or "pain" pain in my jaw. Thats the weird thing

Um, go to the doctor and get a referral to an ENT specialist? That's about the only thing I can think of.

I think that it's a pretty non-specific symptom and it's gotta hurt like blazes. I think it'll only get worse. I really think you need to get thee to an ENT soonest so that you don't end up in the ER at Pennsic.
I hear docs only bite if they're sure it's consensual.

If it's an infection of some kind.. antibiotics are the way to go. You got access to any?

Why does it matter? If you are unwilling to go see a doctor, then you have a bigger issue than an earache.
