[The feed opens to a gentle smile as Yuui peers at you through it, the pokecenter a backdrop behind him as he stands off to the side of the door. It appears that he has made it to Violet city in once piece, and Sachi hasn't run them into some sort of doom

Usually not getting signal or getting an error message means the person has returned to their world.

Gone back to their world...? So he's left?

[It makes sense, obviously, but it still sort of hits Yuui as odd and he still isn't sure how all this works. How they got here let alone how they leave. Not to mention he had so many questions for Fay that he should have asked long before now...]

It's most likely that he has. However I also heard that many people who go back have returned to Johto after a while...

Usually after they disappear their possessions or pokémon appear next to other people, so maybe you can check if his pokémon are with someone else to make sure?

It took a few days worth of travel, just shy of a week for me, I think!

[He responded with a little nod, of course the travel time might have been a little different if Sachi hadn't, you know, run off with every breeze/distracting sound that they came across.]

[Well it had been a little different once he'd parted from Apollo, he only had himself and Sachi to take care of them, but still, he is rather surprised by this news.]

To answer your question, yes - when a gear can't connect to a certain number that person has, in fact, disappeared. The most likely and common theory is that they go back to their respective homes.

[He nods after a moment, glancing around the city around him with a little smile.]

Yes, I could see myself staying here for quite some time before moving on again. I have to say it has a very pleasant atmosphere.

[He probably could use a little time anyways to wait and find out things from his prior travel companion, and recuperate from the head cold. He tilts his head with a slightly sad smile afterwards.]

Ah, that theory really does make sense I suppose. I guess it's a good thing then...!

Yes, I have to say both the towns and the routes seem to have a lot of interesting things to look at in their own way.

I hope to eventually see Goldenrod, I keep hearing that it's a wonderful place. Though so far I'm quite happy with Violet to explore and wander around for awhile.

[At the mention of how frequent disappearances could be, Yuui looked a little more concerned. It meant there would be more occurrences like this?

He was quite of the mind to be happy for Fay and anyone else who got to go home, but it still was a bit unnerving to not truly know where someone went and that you might not ever see them again.]

[Yuui tilts his head slightly but offers a sad smile at the sight of Watanuki.]

Ah hello there, Watanuki-kun! I'm alright, I've just acquired a little head cold it seems. I hope you're well?

[Thinking back to the conversation, he knows they both are probably not at their best after the disappearance, even if he is trying to be happy for Fay getting to go home.]

[Yuui blinks in surprise, a small smile crossing his face as he recalls the red-head from a prior conversation.]

Yes I am, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you before I left Cherrygrove.

[He tilts his head with an apologetic expression, he covers a cough before continuing.]

I hope you're well though, you made it through route 29 alright?

Yeah I'm okay. It was easy. I have three Pokémon now and I'm training them whenever I get the chance.

[He waves a hand vaguely meant as a gesture to calm the man and not worry about it.]

I think it's simply the change in seasons, and being outside so much more than I'm used to. Just a tiny cold, that's all.

[He shifts his attention to the mention of pokemon and brightens significantly.]

Three? Wow, that's quite a lot to take care of! I still only have Sachi for now.

[He chuckles a little, still a rather distracted sort when it came to things a trainer was expected to do.]
