[Entry 08] - Action/Video - Location: Route 31, about to cross into route 30... OTL
[ So... It's been a little while since you've heard, or seen Yuui. He was making preparations to leave, so this might not seem all that strange to anyone in Violet. His plans were to continue working his way through the routes to Goldenrod. However, that couldn't be further from the truth. While it was true that he was on the road again, he wasn't exactly going in the direction that he had meant to...
No, it was quite the opposite...
Recently, Sachi had formed an idea in his little head after speaking to Fai's growlithe 'Kuro-puppy'. And as much as he wanted to go to Goldengrove himself to meet his friends there, he felt a sense of duty to 'lead' Yuui to where the other two would eventually be so the man could fix the almost-twin for Kuro-puppy. Because Sachi was of the opinion that Yuui could fix anything...
Of course, he didn't lead Yuui, so much as run away one afternoon while training, giving the poor chef reason to chase and try to find.
Yuui probably would have tried to contact someone for a little help, however his gear was still acting a little funny after the whole metronome incident while actually speaking to Fai.
His hands were still a little sore from the electrical shock...
Finally, about two days into his chase, the blond got the gear working and was able to submit a brief broadcast. He appeared to be rather... Frazzled, if but distracted as per-usual. A casual (Some how completely unconcerned) smile fixed upon his face as if this were nothing but an interesting bit of excitement as he speaks up.]
Ah, it's finally working again! Hello there everyone! Well, this is a rather pleasant surprise! I'm rather sorry to anyone I didn't have a chance to say goodbye to in Violet. My departure was somewhat unexpected, really. Sachi seems to have gotten distracted while training and ran off while I stopped for a little break...
[His expression is still light, if but slightly embarrassed as he continues,]
Honestly, he's been rather... Clever at avoiding me. I've never seen him get so caught up in what ever game he's playing before!
[Rubbing the back of his neck with a free hand, he glances around once before continuing.]
If anyone sees him, do let me know. I'd appreciate something of an edge on catching up to the little guy.
[A small pause, before he blinks and adds with a slightly curious, but pleased tone.]
Oh yes, my main reason for actually fixing the gear... I just wanted to introduce everyone to someone.
[Pleased, very pleased. Yuui's practically beaming happily as he turns and angles the camera at his feet. It might take a moment to notice, but there is something rather fluffy and brown brushing against his shoe, as something hides behind a pant leg. It takes some coaxing and gentle words, but after a few moments, a little fluffy eevee is revealed, ears preened back shyly as it looks up at it's trainer and the gear system curiously.]
That egg I received for Easter seems to have hatched, isn't she just the sweetest little one?
[Yuui takes a moment to crouch and scoop the pup up, smiling a little as he gives her a little reassuring cuddle. The creature tilts it's head slightly at the screen with a slightly curious expression, nose twitching slightly to see what it smelled like.]
Her name is Marcella! She's been rather curious about everything since she hatched, though a little more shy in comparison to Sachi...!
I had hoped he'd have been around for when she hatched... He was rather possessive of the egg when I got it. But there's not much to do about it now. I should actually get back to looking for him. At this rate I might end up back in cherrygrove!
