Ok, I think I figured it out.

Horror movies, I don't like because I don't believe them. I don't see Jason or Freddy or anyone coming out to kill me.

Scary movies, like The Ring don't scare me; I'm not gonna die after watching a video tape.

What "scares" me are movies that seems like they could happen in real life. Take for example,

STeve, you are too funny! The ring scared me. NOt because of the whole watching a video and dying but the glow on my tv scares me every night and i keep picturing that girl coming out so now I have to sleep wiht my TV on haha I know I"m wierd. Well, I thought you would enjoy that story ;-P
