I could not agree more with your fundamental premise: "You did not earn that position of privilege through your own hard work--God has given it to you. You didn't choose where you were born, who your parents would be or how you would grow up. You were born into a system that was setup for you and set against others. "

But as someone who talks to people daily who advance the "stupid lazy leeches on society should all just be cut-off/deported/sent back to africa, etc." - they do not understand their blessings and successes as a gift - they (many of whom are admirable, hard-working people) understand them as hard-earned and entirely deserved. It's pretty difficult to convince someone otherwise; believe me, I have tried.
