It's official: I'll be in California from December 25th to January 5th, and this time... I'll have a driver's license. I plan on eating lots of steaks and pizza, shopping for used books and CDs, and maybe finally, finally finishing Final Fantasy XII.

I just met my friend Miwa from Hokkaido! Actually, she's not technically from Hokkaido anymore since she moved after she got married, but most of my memories of her are from there. I'm in a pretty good mood today! I think I'm finally over that cold that was the worst I've had in years, and I threw a Halloween party at school today and I think it was a success.
