Nicolle has an appointment with a specialist in Kansas City on Feb. 12. Hopefully that'll be a step in the right direction. Until then we just wait and I'm sure they'll want to do more tests.
As for Margaret, she is doing as well as she can be. They put a support in her neck so her parents can now hold her and she can sit in a wheelchair. Their main concern now is the damage to her lungs and that will always be dangerous for her. Her mom actually was able to come to the cheer competition on Sunday to cheer on her other daughter Katharine. Many of the other gyms, even ones out of state, have taken up collections for the family and presented them at the competitions. It's been truly amazing they way people have pulled together for them.
Well, I hope you get good information from the specialist, and it it works out okay!
That is wonderful about the support for Margaret's family. What a horrible tragedy for them, but I am glad the surgery went as well as it could and they can now hold her, and let her sit up. Makes whatever petty complaints I have completely meaningless, ya know.
