The animal shelter experience was pretty good. Luckily the place wasn't packed with animals or I would've gone home feeling very sad. There were only 6 cats total and two of those were very young, all of them very sweet and adoptable. There were quite a few more dogs and two litters of puppies. I can't believe how time slips away from me. I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving...whatever it is you decided to do. As for us, we headed to my mom's at around noon and had a traditional dinner with my mom and step-dad, grandparents, my older brother, his wife and their daughter, and my step-sister.
