Question for everyone!

Do we want our characters to age? Every time I've played an original character before, they've gotten older every birthday. But in this game, there's canon characters too..do we want them to stay forever 17, like they were in the game (well, most of them), or get older?

What do you all think?

hm interesting question. I'm not sure why they would not age... (i havn't heard of it being considered before...) I mean, we could also see how fast we play through time. I mean does it take us like a month for our characters to progress through a day... in other rpg's i've been in it hasn't been an issue... but i'm not sure how your running the game and this is my first LJ account.

A day is a day. Like for example, you might have a thread that is one class. And you might date it as being Thursday's class, and start it on Thursday, and not actually FINISH it for a week...but in the game, it's all staying as Thursday's class. It might not really make as much sense to you until you see it done.

So, their time is like our time, basically. Birthdays would come about once a year. I think mostly it will only matter to the people playing characters from the game, to have some sort of agreement. Like Zell and Rinoa..they just had birthdays, I think...are they 18 now? Or not? LOL, see I'm confused!! It doesn't really matter to me WHAT we do, as long as everyone does it together..

Yeah i get what you mean..rinoa can't turn 18 if zells 17. I dont really care what we decide...Ill do whatever everyone else says. Irvys birthday isn't til november anyway, lol.

neways... to the question at hand... If time is supposed to hav e passed it would make sense... but we are here for fun not science ^_^ And i no Eamon would not mind not aging a single day more!

Ya know, I've never been in a successfull RP that lasted long enough for this to be an issue XD Haha!

But I think it's a pretty good idea for the characters to age and celebrate their birthdays. Fun! =D
