Name: (real name if possible) Teresa
Nicknames: I get called T by my co-workers.
Age: 29
Gender: Female

Likes: Honesty. Loyalty. Intelligence. Creativity. Open-mindedness. Learning. Being respected. Comics. Graphic novels. Playing Final Fantasy X, X-2, and VIII. Wittiness. Snarkiness. Music that doesn't flow with the mainstream. Movies and shows that fuck with your mind. Being around people with my similar odd interests. I'm a severe geek and proud of it. Also? I'm a complete otaku. Anime (Monster & Paranoia Agent are tied at #1). Manga (Blade of the Immortal & Berserk tied at #1).
Dislikes: Liars. Ignorance. Laziness. Ultra-right wing conservatism. People who are full of themselves. I cannot stand arrogance! Being ordered around. If you ask me to do something, I'll gladly do it. Don't tell me. Kids, of about any age. People, in general; working in retail does that to you. People who have zero imagination or no sense of wonder. When people never bring up a problem they have with you to your face, but they're more than happy to discuss it with everybody else.
Hobbies: I am passionate about writing, whether it's fanfic or original fic. I love to read in my spare time, but it's usually comic books or manga. If it's not that stuff, I'm usually into non-fiction books about wars - World War I and II. And I call myself a pacifist? I'm a huge fan of movies and music. If I didn't have books, music, movies and writing ... sheesh, there's just no reason to live.
Talents: I write fanfic, and I suspect I can consider that my one and only talent. Oh, and I can organize rather well, too. When I get a system in place, that sucker runs like a well-oiled German machine!
Strong Points: An interest in learning. Hip to the politics of the moment. After several years in management, I'm a better decision maker than I was before. I'll hear the problem, weigh the options and go forward with an answer/solution. I can snark with the best of them and I don't let people push me around. I say what I think, even times when I probably shouldn't. A desire for equality and justice.
Weak Points: I have a self-esteem issue. It's low. My mouth gets me in trouble from time to time. I have a slight problem with authority, not to the point I'm an anarchist or anything. I resent being told what to do sometimes. Most times. I'm kinda temperamental. I don't lose my temper a lot, but when I do - look out. Tend to hold grudges. I get impatient with people rather easily, for a number of reasons. Usually, it's their stupidity.
Favorite Color: Red! Don't ask me to intellectualize on why, because I don't know.
Number One Goal: I've always aspired to be a professional writer. The past week, I've been taking mental steps to finally make that a viable future.

Optimistic or Pessimistic: I'm one of the "glass is half-empty" people. I definitely pick out what's wrong about a situation rather than what's right with it. I tend to refer to it as "realism" instead of "pessimism", however.
Hyper or Calm or Normal Energy: I'm usually calm. If somebody seriously pisses me off, I'll get angry, but more like "You'll regret ever screwing with me!!!" level of rage. It takes a lot to irritate me to that point, though.
Impulsive or Cautious: I carefully consider almost everything I do. I'm not a by-the-seat-of-your-knickers person. The better, wiser decision is usually the one you've spent time thinking about.
Outgoing or Shy: I'm quiet around people I don't know, but I'm loud and snarky around those that I do. I'm not exactly the type to have lots of friends, just a few close ones. And even out of those friends, they don't know as much about me as they'd like to think.
Mature or Immature?: Mature, for the most part. We all go a little crazy sometimes, you know.
Leader or Follower?: Leader. I resent being told what to do, especially if it's by a person I have zero respect for.

Assume the following each have "and why" at the end.
Who is your favorite Final Fantasy VIII character? Ah, kinda hard to choose between two characters. One is Quistis. From the first moment she showed up in the game, I loved her. She was mature beyond her years, you'd never guess she was only 18 by the way she commanded respect from everyone. Just a tough woman who had this softer side she hid very well. Almost completely her opposite, well, that's Selphie. I thought she'd be annoying when she joined the storyline, but I ended up adoring her. She's sassy, she's funny, she's upbeat even in the worst of times, and she's just so damn cute!
Who is your least favorite Final Fantasy VIII character? Hmm. Rinoa. I don't hate her, but she's definitely the one I like the least. I didn't care for the way she kept throwing herself in Squall's face, when it was obvious he wanted to be left the hell alone. (Yeah, yeah. I know, the love story is central to the game. Blah!) As much as I hate to admit it, I saw a bit of myself in Squall, and his reactions to her mirrored mine as the storyline played out. Except I didn't, erm, fall madly in love with her at the end. That's where the similarities end.
You find 1 million dollars on the street. Would you keep it or turn it in? It depends. Did anyone else SEE me find it? Heh heh. I dunno, that kind of cash, I'd be inclined to turn it in. Somebody's going to come looking for it. With my luck, it'd either be the IRS or the mob. Wait - aren't they the same people?
What are the 3 top characteristics you look for in a friend? Sense of humor, an understanding of my humor (which contains quite a bit of subreferencing of, usually, obscure material), and loyalty.
What is your fighting style? Psychological warfare. If you can psych out an opponent or get the jump on them through smarts, you need never lift a finger. Except to push the button which'll blow'em up! MWAH!
