because i don't have anything meaningful to say (and because none of you were excited about PlatypusSquare), my "post" will merely be a short list o'current frustrations.

Yeah, weddings can be crazy expensive, good luck with that! So when are you planning on getting married?

don't want to say "when" exactly, as we haven't booked a church or reception or caterer yet. but we're aiming for sometime next winter (things are cheapter in the winter!).

Just to be funny, I would just like to say...
1) There is still a place for you to visit in currently-rainy-but-much-warmer Florida. ^_^
2)Err... "Down with the government!"
3) Weddings are crazy expensive. Although the unicorn would be a bad idea... It'll probably attack all your guests.

aw, thanks for the comment. am feeling slightly better now about the whole wedding thing. am sad because the places i like/photographers i love are waaay expensive. am also sad because the places in my budget (which admittedly i haven't toured yet), are getting less than favorable reviews from friends/soon-to-be family.

am also sad because i had a scary dream in which i thought my boyfriend was cheating on me with one of my cousins. i'll attribute the nightmare to the fact that i slept with underarmor on. i don't know what that has to do with anything, but it seems like the way to go...

You are hysterical...in a good way. I had to read your post to my mom, I found it that amusing. Yes, bring on that suck. If I can help let me know, cause I totally know what you mean! How big is your back yard? or a friends backyard or a distant cousin twice removed's back yard??? Got a church? sooooo much cheaper that way and many of then have reception areas. Otherwise you can always elope :) but that's no fun.

Awww, your post made me miss home! Well, all except the insanely cold basement. (Why IS the computer kept down there in the winter?) Hope Bella and the 'rents are doing well. Is Wedge still at our place? School is cancelled today, so I'm enjoying a much needed break at home (and by break, I mean catching up on my literature review which is still oh, eight books and several pages too short. Yech.)
